Home from equally fantastic and exhausting vacation!

As much as I loved vacationing with my family for nearly three weeks, driving around to cities near the West Coast in USA, it was quite tiring as well.
You probably know the feeling that when you spend money on a vacation and travel to a far-away place, you want to make the most of the entire experience and be out experiencing the area. That's just what we did, almost every single day was jam-packed from after breakfast, which was usually consumed between 6 & 9 AM due to arrangements later in the day. Of course that rendered us basically knocked out by the time the sun had set and we would be snoring away in our hotel room.
The jet-lag was quite annoying, firstly with nine hours and then adding three more as we headed for Hawaii as the last part of the vacation. Granted, the jet-lag going out has got noting on what I am feeling right now. I am overly tired and hyped, having only had 2-3 hours of sleep in the last two days and not for more than an hour at a time. Usually, I can sleep anywhere but on the first flight from Hawaii to San Francisco, I could simply not find a comfortable position and well, on the long 10-hour flight to Amsterdam, they had so many exciting movies I wanted to watch. My priorities was just spot on with that one (note sarcasm).
I missed being on the internet, watching my TV series, YouTube videos (hint three weeks equaled about 230 videos in my subscription box) and generally just have a chill day. That will be my goal for the next few days. That and trying to get my horse back into shape after what in her mind probably has been a three week feast on tall grass.
You know what you just don't want to meet after a long day(s) of traveling? Finding your final destination airport in semi-chaos due to some fire-accident and that half of your suitcases were forgotten (most likely deliberately) in Amsterdam. That of course happened to us and on top of it being holiday-season, the baggage claim was filled with people.

But I have missed wiring so much and didn't have access to anything other than my iPhone 5, which screen is quite small to write on. However I did manage to write an additional chapter to an ongoing story on my WattPad account (http://www.wattpad.com/story/17631960-dating-a-youtuber).
I aim to in the upcoming two/three weeks to get up FIVE additional blog post focusing individually on the areas that I visited with my family, like what I as a foreigner found interesting and what I would recommend. Hopefully, I'll get around to writing them before I forget all the funny details. :)
I do love traveling for short periods of time, but as I suspect many has experienced, it can be quite straining to be away with your parents and a sibling where you're practically glued together all the time. It was lovely but right now I am so pleased to be ALONE in my room.
